There are many customized cars out here it is true but those that totally ruin the design of the car instead of accenting it get flamed, even cars that I think are really nice get flamed... everyone has an opinion about everything...

Everyone praises you for doing your thing. But you can't expect everyone to like it. I bet you like those cars on Pimp My Ride haha... Just about everyone I know out here thinks those cars on the show are jokes. Remember when those SCs made it to that show on MTV? Everyone flamed it too...

My opinion is a good looking car will always look clean and simple.

yeah if u smoothed out the lines a little better, it could have more potential. Take the rear wheel wells for instance. If you had a smoother transition to the body, it would have looked like a wide body so to speak and would fit the overall car much better since the car is pretty bubbly to begin with. Mixing Flat edges and very noticeable lines on a round car is a no no. Im sure you've gained a bunch of knowlege in body work which is really the best thing you could have done, educated yourself. Maybe when you have more time or something and you choose the modify the project, you could make this a much better project.

Hats off for even attempting such a project...GJ!

Don't mind the hate. i think with the new wheels on it it looks much more grown and sexy. it actually looks kinda italian. Anyways I think the thing that throws most people off is the fact that it doesn't look like their cars. It's definetly original so you get hella props for that. plus i wouldn't mind stealing your paint job.

i like some cars on "pimp my ride". and ur right chann if its clean and the person or people took there time, then i can appreciate it. those sc's on trick it out. well they had a theme to stick to. but going topless on the sc is timeless to me. thinkin of cuttin the top on the red car.. Evileagle most tuner wide bodies have the "line". kinda like the subaru of if u look at the new superstreet there is a pull out of a castrol syntec lancer, wide body reminds me of my car. this is done all the time. and orangecar you can steal my paint, i stole it from ms. em. " is their nothing original anymore" like it or love it the sc is a luxury tunerperiod!

Although many people dislike or don't agree to what you've done, I think it's great that you are still proud of your work

Hi sean, this is my first time reading this post. I had to vote hate it, because there wasnt a third choice. And my vote was based off of your first pics which didnt do your car justice. The last pic that you posted of your car makes it look truly nice imo. It's not what I'd do to my car, but it sure doesn't look all that bad. For the sake of constructive cirticism, i'll tell u what i like. I LOVE the front lights and the front fenders. I was studying them and think they are sick. I jus got my vertex fenders in and still wonder whether they are as nice as yours. I love the color! I love the fact that you did everything yourself. It is definitely some A+ work. As far as the front kit is concerned, I wouldnt get it myself, but i definitely have BIG respect for what it is (or it is styled after). It is the Ab-flug designed kit (or styled like) which has been exclusively designed for high speed runs with an adjustable front air-dam. People knock it so quickly without knowing that that very kit styled by ab-flug has seen +200 mph and been thoroughly windtested etc. to adhere to the best aerodynamics to make that possible. For that alone I respect that front a GREAT deal.

As far as YOU are concerned. I admire you and your style and your inspiration to be a role model in your community. I can see why the neighborhood kids look up to you, especially being how you've handled all the flaming with such class. From the few short pages that Ive read in this thread, i actually look up to u some.

From where i sit now, i wish could take back my vote and vote that i love it. And from the last pic, i actually do like it a lot. The thing about the front is, it leaves a slight gap between the bottom of the kit and the ground. My advice on improvement would be to lower your car some. If price was a problem, look up a thread with some details on trimming your springs. It's free, jus requires some effort. I've done it when i had my old civic. tell you the truth, it really didnt have any adverse effects at all. Don't know if that applies to the sc tho. Get that car lower to the car, and then the front would really look good. Also, slap on some 15% tint.

Good going man, well done all around... Look at the interest your car has generated in a single thread. That alone means that you have stepped out and dared to be different. Commendable!

thank you. its still a work in progress. i know about cutting springs on a civic and sentras, but sc's car is to heavy and to go this far then cheap it . saving 4 air bag kit. also thinking of losing the roof via removable hard top or targa. has anyone seen a targa sc. but anyway thanks again 808SOARER. my cars a daily driver (4 now) and will need to be repainted anyway.

Sean,
I am really looking forward to see what you do to the black one in the shop. I know you are doing a headlight conversion, that should be hot! Your red SC shows you have the skill 100% to do whatever you want. I can't begin to imagine how many hours went into you’re creation. I admire you for all the hard work that went into it and how you still hold your head proud despite the beating you have been given here. So it doesn’t fit the "Club Lexus mold" It’s different and nobody has one like it! Very few people on this forum can claim that, even fewer could even fathom doing that extensive of modification without hiring it out! I say go for it! Walk on your own path and leave the haters behind it’s still an amazing creation!
