95 sc400 wieght?
I was looking in my owners manual for the weight of my 95 sc400 but couldnt find it, does anyone know for sure?:uh:
Around 3500-3600lbs.
I know its in that area, but I would like to know exactly, I can usually get weight off of NADA.com but not on the Lex.
Should be on the door/ door jamb.
All I see is the gvwr which is an overall fully loaded rating.
when i cornerbalanced my 95, mines came in at 3890lbs, with my weight (130lbs) and 3/4 tank.
Are you asking this question because you are looking to put your lexus on a diet? Reducing a couple of 100 pounds does make a noticeable difference...As I noticed that in my SC....
Sounds like 3700 w/o driver and fuel, sounds like me and my car need more dieting.
does jenny craig do cars?
Actually jibby, I was eye balling a 99 cadillac catera because I thought it might be shorter and lighter with 66,000 miles for 5000 dollars, turns out the caddy is 3 inches longer, 70 lbs heavier and 50 hp less, think ill pass.
You can put an LS1 into a Catera, would make a great sleeper.
It weighs 3,627lbs according to http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/sp.../400&trimid=-1

Thanks sc300 I just added that webpage to my favorites, and to answer a prev, question, yes I want to reduce the weight of my 400, and am still studying the best way to go about it. Cost and difficulty and dont want to drive around with no spare tire, and havent come to the point of giving up these great Lexus seats. Cake and eat it too ya know.
Msn.com list the sc400 at3627, edmunds at 3506, seems like they cant agree. Im thinking ones got gas and oil in it, the other one at the end of assembly line.
