Newb with sc
Hello guys and gals I have been browsing these forums for a while now and have finally picked up a 1992 sc400. I have been looking at lexus for a while actually I bought a 98 gs300 8 months ago but receantly sold it. Any ways with the money I saved I have decided to go all out with this car. Right now it is at a local shop getting inspected but I have already purchased the vertex aero kit (vis) eibach springs, hid kit, and jic upper strut tower bar.
I will have pics shortly as soon as I get it out of the shop, I was a little weary though about buying a 400 (wanted a 300 to do the jz swap) but after talking with the local speed shop I was comfortable with the purchase. They told me that the jz swap in a 400 is really any more complicated then the 300. Also it helped that they had a 1jz swaped mkiii supra (yeah i know no one cares but this is a diffcult swap to performe and no shop in my area other then this one has done it.)
Sorry for the long thread and no pics so feel free to flame me those of u who scroll thorough threads looking for pics with out reading the thread.

Welcome!
First off, be prepared to massage the VIS kit a little to get it to fit correctly. Second, IIRC you must swap or highly modifly the engine cradle in order for the 1JZ to fit (or any straight 6 for that matter). Correct me if I'm wrong!
