Default Q bout cold air

Yeah.... I have a question about cold air intake..srry if its a nooby question...i heard its not good?? i dunno, something about water in the engine or something like that...

so the question is...what are they talking about? and are they right about the cold air intake being bad for your engine...

Sure its bad...if your intake is low enough to pick up water, from say a puddle, or major rain...then yea, it would be bad.

IF you thought about cold air, you can have it exposed to the elements, such as one of the bumper openings, just make sure you have a bypass valve on the piping after that opening. And if you get a bypass valve, dont stinge out, chuck the extra cash so you can prevent hydrolocking your motor.
