Can't decide on Tint...help!

I can't seem to decide on what type of tint to go with...metallic or regular. My car's black on black....it seems as though regular tint might look better.

what do you guys think? :o i could use some help....and post pictures if you have them please!

is it true that 'regular' will eventually turn purpleish?

I don't know??
I've never driven a car long enough to notice the color fade to purple... :D

I vote regular

The only fade I know of is if you get red tint it will fade to pink.
Get regular and call it a day.

I don't think so, but I am pretty sure that older cars (my friend's '90 Z) came with purple tint. Maybe it was the style. Maybe someone can shed some more light on this.

Whoops, forgot about the topic. I think metallic tint only looks good on white cars. I have seen it on all colored cars, but it looks really funny. I have a non-white car and considered mirror/metallic, but realized it doesn't look good on red.

Black looks good on all cars.

Too bad mirror tint is illegal in Cali.

Tint that turns purple is usually when someone did the tint themselves with a cheaper version of tint that you can buy at a walmart, so its not good quality stuff, anywhere that installs will have much nicer tint, and plus it takes many many years of the sun baking the tint onto your windows before the low quality tint even starts turning purple

Only "Charcoal" tint turns purple. I have True Grey and it will never turn purple.

I'd go with metallic, if it's the same as "titanium" which gives it the wet look.

metallic really stands out on a black car.... it's really nice and catchy

i'll go with titanium.keeps the heat out and looks nice too
