How many 5spd sc300's were made?
I've searched here, google, yahoo, etc..... And it seems that a couple of sites say that they were about 1400-1600 made. Is this true? If so, I own a rare car because the amount of them that are still drivable must be 1200 now, maybe even under 1000. That is if this is true. Anyone know the right amount? If so, due tell.

I think theres way more 5 speed sc's than the numbers posted. I had no problems find a 5 speed replacment when i crashed my car. I've also notice that there are aways a couple for sale. They don't seem too hard to find.
I would say 97+ RSP on black 5 speed would be the rarest if one exist.

ive had 2 myself. only 250 were made in 97.... considering there were only about 52 RSP 5speeds, i think thats the rarest. search autotrader, there are always about 15 or more 5speeds for sale in the country at any given time.

Not terribly rare. Rare to find one in good condition for a reasonable price. I spent many many many many MANY MANY years hunting for one until I settled for my '92 5sp that I picked up for 5k and 102k on the odo.
The later years are the most rare of the MT models.
They seem fairly rare in California, where they get snatched up by tuner types. Every month or so someone always asks if I am selling it
makes me worry about car theives.

Are you guys sure about the 3 quoted about the RSP 5speed. I know theres one on this board thats an RSP 5speed but i thought that year they made 56 RSP's 3 SC400 nad 53 SC300 i dont think too many were 5speeds. The one on this board may be the only one.
