Cool Finally picking one up... 95 SC400

Well today was a great day! I signed a bill of sale to a 95" SC400 that was Silver/Black (THATS RIGHT BLACK INTERIOR WOOOOO!) and had 163k miles . All I am waiting for is the title to be changed from the bank to his name, then he gets the money and I get the car. I had plans to pick up a SC300, but due to school starting soon and my short list of choices I found this beauty the day it was up for sale, so I decided to go look at it...... All I could say was "wow". The interior was mint. The exterior had its lil things here and there for being a high mileage car but overall it was great. Here are the pics:

Couple of reasons I picked it up:
1) RARE black interior. I was amazed to find it in such good condition so I picked it up immediatly.
2) Short list of choices, and was able to bargain to $5600 which isnt bad, and under blue book value.
3) Although it had 163k miles it pulled strong and felt great.

Well hopefully I will either Supercharge it or I might just go buy the SC300 Kmember and mounts and drop a 1jz in ..... Cant decide lol

Thanks for looking !

Just sell it and get a 300 if you want to do a 1jz! keep the 4.0 in the 400 and leave it! much easier too

Nice looking SC.

Forget the Supercharger and get a 100 hp Nitrous Oxide Wet Kit for $400 on Ebay. Easy to install and It will put you at 300 RWHP with a 100 shot.

You'll find that once the novelty wears off you won't be using it all that much but it will be there when you need it.

Nice...is that Platinum?
lfrers, you're going to talk this poor kid into blowing the thing up.
I would fix the little things and just leave it man, enjoy it for what it is. The 1UZ is very stout but 163k is a bit much to start adding FI IMO. Oh...and I know you're excited and that's cool, but the interior is not quite 'mint' .
Enjoy it and good luck.

Its now in my driveway and runs great. What to do, what to do ( I have decided not to go nitrous... I think I might get another 1uz and rebuild and then supercharge it). I think I need to retake the pics b/c from the pics of the interior here it looks crappy but in life they look GREAT. Apparently this car was dealer treated its whole life and I got the recipts. The only problem I ran into was the tilt steering doesnt go down. But it goes in and out. Oh well time to search. Oh and I am not sure on the color... its silver with a slight tint of blue. This is my 10th car...Hopefully I keep this one lol.

Great car. Great buy. Can't ask for more than that. Welcome to the Platinum/ Black SC club.

Does that color SC come in any other interior than the black?
