Default Pics - 18 &19" wheels, Tein springs / Supra Susp / CF Hood

Alright guys, here's some pics (had a few requests for these) - lemme know what ya think...

Car is a 93 SC400...

TSW Kyalami's Hyper Black
front - 18x8 +40 mm with 235/40-18
rear - 19x9.5 +35 mm with 275/30-19
To get the rears to fit, I had to roll the fenders (even at stock ride height)

Suspension:
Tein S-Tech springs for Supra TT
Supra TT OEM Struts

VIS OE style CF Hood

I just changed my hood... I didn't think it was that heavy.... can you tell any difference in acceleration and engine temperature?

Oh, wow... that carbon hood looks AWSOME! Two thumbs up. That 18 19 combo looks great. How much does that hood go for? And whats the actually weight of it compared to stock?

I got the hood of Ebay - cheapest place I could find it shipped - It's made by VIS, which is one of the best quality inexpensive hoods (rolled edges, great fitment, etc) I think it was around $600 to my door... (I did it cause the factory hood started peeling bad, and it was easier to replace with CF ) It's quite a bit lighter - the factory hood is really heavy... I'd say 50% reduction in weight, maybe a little more?

nope... engine temps are about the same, and it doesn't seem any faster... it's realistically probably about 40-50 lbs less than the stock hood, so, even at that, the numbers say it's .05 improvement in 1/4 mile time (usually 100 lbs / tenth)
