I am currently in the planning stages of a JDM soarer project. I want to swap the stock 1JZ-GTE with a supra 2JZ-GTE.. my question is.. would it be a better idea to buy an automatic soarer(cheaper than standard) and swap the auto trans and the 1JZ with a supra standard trans and 2JZ? or would it just be easier to pay the extra for standard soarer and just swap the engines? i'm trying to find the most cost effective way to build a standard 2JZ-GTE Soarer. any info or advice would be appreciated.
