Wheel rubbing on inside fender HELP!
Sorry if I put this in the wrong area but I figured it would suit the situation best. So I just got new wheels and tires put on my SC400 today(18X9 Rear with 265/35s and 18X8 Front with 245/40s.) I was driving down a road today where there is a slight dip(30 mph) and when my car went down and the compressed the springs i hear a hollow, grinding, sound coming from the rear right wheel well, I know this wheel setup is not very aggressive so that's why I am wondering why it is doing this
there is more than enough clearence in the fender well and tire, no visual rubbing spots on the outside, plus it sounds like the sound is coming fromt he inside. Would it be possible it is rubbign against the springs or something? I can't see back there very well but I just don't want this to go on very much longer before something gets hurt
this a common problem at all? and info would help! Thanks a bunch all!
