Class or sass.......... what is YOUR SC goal?
#256
I just bought my 99 SC300 and my current goal for this car is classy speed. My list is as follows:
1. Disconnect power antenna(annoying imo)
2. Swap factory front seats with lighter, manual seats
3. Swap factory steering wheel(annoying imo)
4. Get a nice set of coil overs+brake upgrade
5. Get a nice set of light wheels and wide sticky tires
6. ProEFI+flex fuel setup with E85 tune
7. TH400 swap(cheap, rush hour traffic approved, and strong as an ox)
8. Forged bottom end
9. Big single turbo
10. High end paint job in factory color
I will leave the rest of the interior alone besides the seats and steering wheel because it's just so damn nice. My goal is for it to look the exact same, minus the wheels, but make around 700whp. My power goal will always be to walk the fastest currently produced Corvette.

Old thread but what the hell.
1. Suspension upgrades ( a lot of supra stuff and bushing replacements
2. BBK (LS calipers with new rotors
3. Wheels and tires
4. Engine and exhaust upgrades
5. Interior commodities (DIY aux or just a new head unit, seats, steering wheel)

My goal is to learn about Dad's 1992 SC 300
My dad passed in 2012 and, since then, I've told Mom that after we found out the work his SC needed I would get his car running great again. It is 2024 and she is not amused. His car still sits in the garage with its 82K miles. It's hard to let go of a car that's a reminder of someone special. My goal is to lurk and learn.
