Unhappy Questioning my car situation

I hate to post loaded questions, but-

I've had my 400 for a year now. It's an awesome car. But, I really want a stick shift and a lot more power.

I don't know of any shops around here capable of installing turbocharger systems, so I will have to do most of the work myself. No big deal there, I just won't sell my car till the turbo one is working well.

Should I buy a 300 5-speed and turbo it? What does the whole project require money and parts wise (transmission swap. etc)?

On boost does power come early or late?

I honestly wonder if I shouldn't just dump the whole deal and get a big block crate motor and a '67 Camaro.

Bleh.

What redline are you at? Scott told me the car would be safe to 8000, so I was gonna get something to raise it...
