hello, i did a search and i didnt find any info on a diagram for the sc300 ground wire kit install points, i want to try and put this new ground wire kit on because my car has the electrical ghosts so if anyone can help that would be great, thanks!

 

I just got a generic kit off off ebay. It included instructions on were to install the wires. I did notice some mprovement after their installation

 

Can you post up those set of instructions? I'd like to know of any grounding points I might have missed.

I already did my car, now I am doing my junk truck: 86 Nissan 720 z24i 4x4. So far I have the list as:

Battery to frame
Battery to body
body to alternator
body to intake
body to valve cover
body to block
frame to transmission
body to t-case
body to exhaust

Any others I should add? I happen to have a ton of copper strand wire laying around with connectors.

Anyone have pics of their actual groundwire kit, and it's points?

I had a little trouble following the diagram; in fact I have to buy another kit, just 'cus the one I have didn't come with enough wires. Here are the points I've grounded, but thus far I haven't really noticed any difference in performance, or brighter headlights, etc. The kit came with different length wires, so I was somewhat limited to where I could route them. When I get the second one, I'll go further.

So far I have:

Battery to Frame (OEM Connection)
Battery to Item #4
Item #4 to Transmission
Battery to Intake Manifold
Battery to Head (Routes over-top)
Alternator to Frame

I know I have a ground issue due to my rpm gauge being off when the lights are on.
