radio/climate button backlight?

radio/climate button backlight?

The backlighting on my '92 SC300 for the radio and climate control buttons intermittently goes out, but will reappear within a couple of trips. What could be the problem? Not the LCD itself, but the backlights for the buttons themselves.

SEARCH please when posting. Your bulb is getting old. whack it to make it come back on, but don't rely on it forever.
