Default It's not DEAD, it's simply sleeping!?

I'd love to get some feedback on an occasional problem I'm having with my 2000 SC300.

Since I bought the car about 11 months ago, two or three times when I have not driven the car for more than 5 days, when I go to start it, the battery's totally dead & I have to jump it with the generator I've learned to keep in the trunk -

Each time its happened, I've checked everything out & nothing had been left on that should drain the battery to that extent, and the battery's less than a year old.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? I'd welcome any feedback!

Sounds like it's time to replace the battery. Take it to a Pepboys and have it checked out. If the battery is still good, it's your alternator that needs to be replaced.

Also ensure that your battery terminal connections are tight. A loose connection will result in trickle-down.

Do you have a fancy alarm on it or anything? My buddy has an alarm that has GPS tracking and a paging system that draws alot of juice and his car does the same thing after a long weekend even after replacing the battery about 3 times.
