ditto on the question of the dye or new parts. im excited to see how it turns out.

since Indy loves to keep people in suspense, i'll go ahead and answer the many questions...:p
Those trim pieces were painted with SEM flat black paint. Door panels were purchased from me :D CF pieces were also purchased from me :D I have my own set for sale in the classifieds, going another route with the interior... Great job on those pieces Pat, you really cleaned them up well!! Let me know if you need help installing that front vent piece... Tony |
as ACLEANSC4 stated, i painted the pillar mounts, window trims including the rear in BLACK SEM paint. this type of paint works really well and it takes about a few days for the paint to dry.
i already painted my center consol in black, it used to be TAN before. im going with the BLACK/GREY combination with my interior. i still need to change my carpet and yeah....i need to pick that up from ACLENSC4 !!! lol carbon fibers pieces are well made by this guy (ACLENSC4) and im glad i got them !! i had them since last year but never really had the time to install them. i had to trim the edges on all of them for a nearly perfect fit . |
great project indy!
Any close ups of the painted (SEM) pieces? Chris |
I also used SEMS interior dye. I went with satin black and it came out amazing. It's been about a year since the interior has been dyed and it just wont rub off.
