Default New edition to the Lexus family....daily driver.

I bought myself a new toy.....well, and old toy...new to me. Im going to use this one as a grocery getter, the GS just isnt cut out for those duties anymore.

In typical Pimp fashion, I had to buy wheels for it the day that I bought it.....18's for a nice comfy ride. I just threw two of them on to check out how they look, and before 321 and a half people say it....I know, it need to be lowered. Thats next on the list.

I wonder how long it will take for me to take the daily driver ability out of this one???

The beauty of having the 18's is that they can play double duty for track time on the GS.....hate to burn those 305/25/20's up....they get a little expensive.

Default New to the SC family

I just bought a 92 SC400 last week to add to my Lexus collection. I have a GS400TT that was basically taken out of daily driver status, the SC will fill that duty now. I bought some Blitz Technospeeds for it the day I bought the car, 18's for daily comfort. I just threw two of them on the car to see how they look, then took them back off until I drop the car down. Im probably going to order some Teins next week, just trying to figure out which ones I want.

ANyhow, just wanted to share some pics.

I thought I would share some pics of the GS while im at it......

They are Blitz Technospeed Z2's in Blitz silver......the front wheel looks darker because of the shade.

Brian....dont sweat it, Jimmy hooked me up.

I made an educated decision to go with the SC400 instead of the SC300.....just so I wont start thinking about FI on the car. When I was looking, I started thinking SC300, 2JZGTE, etc, etc....I had to take a step back and remember what the purpose of the car was to begin with.....thus, SC400 to keep me in check.

PHL single........we can always work out a trade for the Supra......

I see you have the TH400 in the Dawg........I have that tranny in the GS4 as well, Im still trying to get the TQ stall speed right with Pro Torque.....round three just came in a few days ago.....hopefully it will be right this time. Pulling the tranny out is getting old...and expensive. Question for you, Im assuming you have a high stall with the TH400, do you spraty the car to get it spooled off the line? I have been contimplating spraying it.....just wanted to wait until this latest TQ was installed to see how it panned out.
