Default BLown Transmission

Sigh this just happened a few hours ago. . . long story short . . .i was on the freeway. . heard a hissing sound then POP! cant downshift!! luckily i was able to pull over to a safe place and wait for a tow truck. . my question is. . is it better to replace the tranny? or just look for another car? btw. . its a 92 SC400 with about 250k on it. . but then again i dont want to look for another car. . I love this car sooo much!!!

I didn't know you could supercharge a transmission.

Sorry to hear it mate. I've read some good things about Gazi's prices whilst surfing these boards. You've got a lot of miles, so you might want to get a new tranny + engine all in one purchase. Or, get a new tranny, sell the car, and get a newer lower milage SC4. You've got lots of options. Good luck!
