Default SC400 Audio Install

Here are a few pics of my recent audio install. The goal was to keep a stock look, other than the head unit. Let me know what ya think!

I did something very similar to this. I ran a 10" free air kicker with the amp mounted by the fuel tank too. Sounds very nice and clean!

10" Kicker sub. Used the basket that the factory Nakamichi sub was mounted to (took forever to cut that thing). No clearance issues. The free air setup sounds really good. Got a 5ch Kicker amp running everything.

Kicker Comp VR10. Modified the factory sub housing to ensure a clean fit.

Nice job!

Did you separate and re-glue the nak sub ring metal and plastic pieces? Mine separated after about a month after I didn't bother with this.

Also, did you have to modify your sub grill cover to make it fit back on? Interesting to see how you did it, as I haven't got around to doing mine yet.

Nice setup!

This gives my inspiration to finish my custom subwoofer bracket. I cutout the stock nakimichi out of the stock subwoofer bracket. I was planning on putting a pioneer free air subwoofer in it but the magnet was too large.

What is the specific model sub your are running? I googled it real quick and it says that it can run in free air.

Any shaking or rattles with the free air sub there?
