1JZ GTE stock internals can hold up to 600HP. It can do as much as 2JZ . However the Torque on 1JZ is less than 2JZ

well no one offereds aftermarket headlights or altezza tail lights for the SC300, keep that in mind. As far as 1jz/2jz.. they both can hold the same amount of power on stock internals, and its not toooo hard to make a stock turbo 1jz hit the 12s in the 1/4mi.

welcome to CL!

the most power that i have ever heard of a stock internal 1J pushing is 1430RWHP!!

i dont know details about the car, or how long it lasted, but it was enough to get the dyno figures. the 1JZ has all the potential of the 2JZ, but with .5 liters less, you sacrifice some torque. all in all, they are both very well designed motors.

does anyone have any links of these high hp stock bottem end 1jz's? i never knew that it could make as much hp as a 2jz. 2j's have been known to break the 1000hp on stock internals but i believe they can make around 700 reliable hp on stock bottem end. i knew the 1j was stout like the 2j but i always though the 2j made more hp than a 1j would on stock bottem end safely. any data or info would be great. i just don't like going with hear say like how i aways find people saying that the 1j head flows better than the 2j head or even the na 2j head flowed better than the turbo head but never seen ANY data that backs up these claims.
