NEW TO FORUM! Need HELP on applications for parts PLEASE!
Hey whats up everyone!
Im new on here but not new to moddin cars so I have a couple of questions for you guys. I actually post frequently on Honda-Tech.com but Im glad to say that I have graduated from my Honda to a more challenging project! I just recently purchased my SC300 5spd and am looking at doing some interior mods. And yes...Im a girl if you guys are wonderin by my SN.
My 1st mod I wanted to do was to install a aftermarket steering wheel. So my 1st question for you guys is.......what hub should I use since it doesnt seem like there is an application that is lexus specific. Do I just purchase a hub for a JZA80 Supra? Will that work for my JZZ31? I was looking into the momo brand hubs since they seem to be pretty universal. Any insight into this would be great guys!
My 2nd mod I was looking to do was to install some aftermarket racing seats like a Recaro SRD or SPG. So my next question would be do I buy sliders for a JZA80 Supra? Since, again there is no application for my JZZ31. I heard that supra seats bolt right into the SC300 so I would assume if I bought sliders from Recaro for a supra it would be fine. Does anyone have the answer for this one as well?
Any help would be greatly apprcieated. I hope Clublexus is more of a mature audience then Honda-tech is.....
tootles...
P.S.
You guys can either PM me the answer or answer in the thread......thanks in advance!

Steering wheel you can use the 93+ momo hubs, i'm about to do mine here shortly using a momo #7728 hub.
The seats I'm pretty sure you will have to have the sliders fabricated, or grab some supra seats and take the sliders off of those and have them welded to the new seats, or get seats fabricated for the Supra.
Good luck with your project and hope to see some pics soon!

Plenty of us are running aftermarket seats and steering wheels. I'm running SRDs right now.
