Keep in mind that a 1992 model year would have been sold in early, mid-1991 or late 1991. As hot as SC400's and SC300's were as new models at the time they probably did not stay on the dealer lots for very long.

Adjusted for inflation, $39,920.00 in 1991 is equivalent to over $74k in 2018 USD. The sticker price may not have been $65k when it was new but the U.S. Dollar was worth considerably more in 1991 which means that with the inflation adjustment these were the equivalent of $65k-$80k cars (in the 2018 Dollar valuation we are familiar with at time of your post) when they were new.

Mine is the same color as Twizteds, a maroon color..Ooh, mine had the phone! No NAK system but it did have the 12CD changer. I didnt know about the "60 second power off" option and my memory seat never worked. hit the buttons and nothing happens? TRAC stuff too (not working currently) ....Super clean when my Dad bought it, he hit a curb and jacked up the front spoiler and chipped the paint to hell on the nose corner. It now has a nice rip in the front passenger seat where a car wash guy sank his knee into to get to the inside windows. Saw the guy do it and told the manager but the guy denied it and said it was already like that. What a ****.

Mine is a custom candy color, came from the factory as sand tan color. If the leather tore that easily probably time to recover, I know mine got hard as a rock.
