Climate Control Completely stopped working on a 95 SC400 :(
Hey guys........ Here's what happened... Apparently my cell phone adapter somehow fried my climate control unit..... I am hoping it was just a fuse..... Havn't really looked at it yet. I had to catch an early flight to Ohio for business........ I get in my SC and pull out of the garage......... everything is working fine...... i pull over to my honda, shut the SC off, go get my cell charger out of the hondal......... and get in and plug it in........then start the SC........ The AC no longer works.......... then i see none of the buttons work............ not putting the 2 together yet....... i was tired..... early light........
Then i say, damn, i cannot drive an hour and a half to the airport without any AC....... so i'm like....... time to take the Honda....... pull the SC back in the garage...... go to the Honda........put everything in....... start it up etc......... plug the Cell Charger in........ the little light on it goes on........ then off again and now i have no Rear Defroster and the charger doesn't work.... then i'm like Sh#@$#................ that's what happened.......... but luckily enough, the AC worked still........
So my question is this, the Climate Control unit and the power adapter seem to be on the same circuit on the SC....... which fuse is it? Please tell me its not fried and its only a fuse.........please please
Thanks in advance......

check all the fuses and TOSS that charger. It is shorting out.....did you get it from a gas station? Those cheapy CLA's are not manufactured to spec......and can also kill your phone. Go to your service provider and get one that was built to spec. You would be surprised at what regulations are in place for every aspect of cell phone product.
But relax. Its more than likely a fuse.

It is definitely shorting out........ i tossed it already......... I used it on my last phone also........ i actually got it off of eBay...... i know its a cheapo item.......... needless to say, i will take your advice and get one from my provider Today i will have time to go check out the fuses as that is the likely cause........ and i hope it is it Thanks for the help guys........ i will keep you updated.....

It is the Fuse located right under your drive side panel, happend same thing to me on my 95SC300 , all of a sudden climate control screen went blank and none of the buttons would work on the unit and my power outlet went out, found out it was a fuse, i hope you will get that taken care of soon!!!

Indeed it was a simple fuse............. the one labeled Cig of course....... a 15amp fuse...... Replaced it and all is back to normal This is a good thing........... and thanks for all the help
If i hadn't been on the way to the airport, i am sure i would have figured it out..... but i was just concerned of course since i couldn't get a chance to look at it.......... But its fixed
