Default Poor man suspension

I have been looking around for a short time now at springs/shocks coilovers ect ect. and i have come to this conclusion, 1 - i do not have the money for a proper coilover set-up currently. and 2- i would like to invest in some springs, and shocks.

Now my dilema with the springs and shocks is i would like to get AT LEAST a 2in. drop out of it, and i want something stiff enough for some beginer/intermediate drifting. (i will eventually sell these when i get better but for now it will do) Now my question is, can some1 help me out on what some of my choices are now i have cleared what im looking for. Im trying to get a lower stance with a stiff suspension as to reduce the amount of body roll i have through corners. Along with the springs and shocks, i am purchasing a set of trd sway bars, daizen bushings, and the trd strut tower bar. Please any input is appreciated.

If youre willing to buy used , there is someone selling a set of Supra Eibachs springs with TT shocks for 200 on the Supra forum . That would be a 2in. plus drop.

Falken Gravity TT sport springs plus TT shocks...

will be a 2" drop in the front at least... and almost 2" in the back... very low drop

can find the springs on ebay for $100 shipped roughly and the shocks for around $100-$150 used with lower mileage on supraforums...
doesnt get much cheaper than that

Supra aftermarket springs that are designed to give a 1.5"-2" drop with aftermarket supra shocks would be a great suspension setup. Aftermarket supra springs on an SC drops your car like crazy all while giving it a real stiff ride. Great for curve carving turns and drifting. A friend of mine had Supra Intrax springs with stock supra Shocks on his old SC300 and that thing handled so nice. Very low drop too. If only I had remembered that when I was looking for suspension for my car. I would have gone with supra springs in a heart beat.

Ok, the NA Supra and the TT Supra have different suspension? Also, how much does the oem Supra suspension lower the SC??

since supra shocks and springs work out fine, how about Ground Control coilovers with Koni yellows? I know that setup is very popular for Hondas. But since this setup for a supra cost about 1200 bucks would it be better off saving some more and getting a traditional system, like the tein cs coilovers or JIC SF-1?

You could try to get Tokico Illuninas adj. from TT. It have 5 level of adjustable stiffness and it drop around 2"Front and 1.8" Rear I think. I have this on my car along with JIC stb and its great. I only set it at level 3 and it stiff enough for me. I hope this info help you. Good luck

springs and shocks from a supra tt... as long as they are designed for that car (oem or not) then it will bolt right up to yours

dont mix sc300 and supra springs and shocks; it wont work ;they have different designs in the rear
