Default My version of IS3 wheel install w/2 tone...pics

Just a couple of things I've been playin with... My interior is 2 tone grey/black w/ CF wrap on wood pieces and I have 2 sets of panels and tried mixing and matching... also with the black supra seats / black rear seat I wanted a steering wheel to "set this thing off right" so I installed an IS300 wheel and airbag... It really looks like nice with my fake CF overlays...lol
Excuse the cluster as OLT is working on mine and the one in the pic is a borrowed unit...
Peace

door panel 2 tone...

That looks sweet! I know the airbag is hooked up but are you confident it would work? If so, that may be my next mod. Nice work.

Looks very nice. Do you have any pics so we can see how the wheel looks with the whole interior.

Yeah, That is awesome. My concern is the airbag foremost and the cruise control next. How much was that wheel/airbag combo?

Looks great!

Consider your next mod being sending in your cluster to LLS.

Thanks fellaz for the replies...
I think the wheel fits our cars nicely...

Bizzy....cluster is already being worked on......Soon the climate and HU will be in tune as well...

Re: airbag... 2001 was single stage and I feel confident it will deploy if needed.. (hopefully not)
I actually had 2 momo wheels installed and was gonna go airbagless since I am the only driver and it was a personal decision... I am glad to have been able to find one i like w/ airbag.

Re: cruise control...plugged right in but never tried it.. honestly never use it so it won't matter either way... I will post wether or not it works for others info...

Price... a mint.. The wheels are hard to find but the airbags are next to impossible.. I think the used market is slim since very few IS300 owners change their steering wheels and airbags.. I know why.. I think they are the best looking set ups out there in non-wood...
I don't like wood wheels and this was the way to go...

Indy.. the "fake" CF overlay was done by me and was purchased as sheet material off fleabay.. It really is not bad for my 1st attempt and I like it better then wood... I have another set of wood pieces if I decide go back to wood or try black wood or something later..
When I finish some other "projects" I'll get some pics off to u.. I know u got a few "things" goin on to bro..lol
