i know the wheel will fit. I worded that wrong. I was more worried about the airbag situation.

Not positive as I haven't looked into these but if they are single stage (most likely) then yes they will work.

Bear in mind tho that the LS wheel is larger and may not be suitable to use in a car like the SC. Unless you like to drive with a fire engine wheel.

Default Anyone know???

Will the 2000 ES300 steering wheel work in a 93 SC400? It looks exactly the same, four spoke, CC and all...even looks the same size, at least I think it does. But my question is more surrounding the single and dual stage airbag issue. Is the 2000 ES300 Dual Stage?

Ultimately I guess I'm asking if I take the 2000 ES wheel and put in the airbag from my 93 SC4 will it all work properly...wheel bolt up, airbag function and Cruise function? I'm thinking yes, but I'd love to hear from anyone who knows or even thinks they may know...thanks in advance.

I'm just finishing up this exact same mod. I got a 2000 Camry wheel off fleabay, and then bought a '94 Camry wheel and airbag thinking I'd just plop the old single stage airbag in and be good to go. Well, it ALMOST fits. I had to change the steering wheel mounts over from the old wheel because the mounting holes on the airbag didn't line up with the newer mounts, and then I had to shave some of the vinyl on the corners of the airbag to make it fit the wheel. It's still not an exact match, but it all fits and the horn still works. The CC connections and plug are the same.
I'm just planning on using this until my regular wheel gets back from American Stitches so this setup will probably be for sale soon.

I think the airbag is a slightly different shape than the SC wheel (even though they both have 4 spokes). I know for sure my SC bag doesn't fit an ES wheel.

Default Thanks!

Oooo, that sucks. You'd think they're same...the wheels look the same. Do you think the entire 2000 ES wheel would just bolt up and still have CC and airbag work? I've been told airbag is single stage, like the SC. Or would the connectors be different or something?

you could also put a supra steering wheel in and the airbag plugs right in.

- the wheel fits your SC
- the wheel w/ airbag is also single stage and will work
- Your Sc airbag may not fit exactly... measure a 2000es airbag
and compare against yours. You could always just buy the airbag
that fits that steering wheel and sell yours to recoup some costs.
