Default tokico kit question - please read

i purchased a tokico suspension set (shocks and springs) for a 93-98 toyota supra.
rennenmotors said that this suspension kit will drop the supra 1.5"

on intellexual.net it says if i take stock suspension from a toyota supra and put it on my sc300 it will lower my car by approx 1"

i am about to put this suspension on my sc300, so if it was meant to drop the supra 1.5", does this mean that the kit will drop my sc300 2.5"

please let me know if this is a good idea or not, thanks a lot i appreciate your help.

That's a good question, never thought about that. I'd like to know as well.

Yes your car will get a bigger drop than the supra. Exactly how much I don't know.. I'm guessing if the supra drops 1.5 ur car will probably be close to 2.25>? I had this problem too with the supra tokico illuminas.. I got worried so I sold them and got coilovers.

Here is what I have learned and read in different forums.. Supra suspension parts due swap over to the SC's.. The spring rates are going to slightly stiffer with some certain coilovers or other setup.. Since the Supra TT also weights slightly less the SC does you can expect the drop to be a little more.. I have seen a few SC's with the Tokico Kit on them.. One had the kit made for the SC and was dropped 1-1.5 inchs.. The other had the Kit made for the Supras and was dropped at max 1.5 front and 2.0 rear at Most.. It took some looking to notice the minor difference.. I was looking into the Tokico Kit has well for my SC, but due to my SSR rims and the stock height of my car.. I worried about it rubbing in front.. After finding the Tein Basic coilover, researching it VS Tokico kit I found the strut damping is very similar, but the Tein has a stiffer spring rate.. Its only a minor difference, but weight of the SC requires a little more stiffer.. Plus the Tein Basic gives you height adjustably which Tokico doesn't.. The Price difference is 100 bucks.. Soo just my 2 cents about everything.. Also do the Daizen swaybar kit, it'll make night and day improvements once u do the struts/springs.. GoodLuck

Read this post: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...supra+bilstein

They talk about how the supra suspension is roughly 0.7" lower than the SC3/4. So if the supra suspension setup is suppose to lower the supra 1.5", then that same suspension will lower the sc3/4 roughly 2.2"
