Those rims would do quite nicely, but dont forget to upgrade the brakes! or make sure they will clear your calipers if you ever do want to get some brake upgrades.

Beware of cheap wheels! BEWARE.

We already discussed these in this thread:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...hreadid=137945

Hope this helps you in the right direction. And a search would have brought it up.

Evo's are decent quality and great price...many on Ebay... ADR's are decent.. many of my peeps in NYC run them and they hold up well to potholes.. I am not sure of their triple chrome plating longevity..
Enkei's are decent and I know personally that the chrome is strong.. and the price is right...
Search fleabay for those...

Tell us what your budget is.....may be able to make recommendations in your price range.
BTW, if you like the Stern Wheels I say go for it. I'm sure they will come with a warranty. Don't let people intimidate you into spending more than you want. I have high end wheels that I really like but they have their own situations to deal with. You have to baby the polished lips to keep them in decent condition. One piece chrome wheels are the easiest wheels to care for. Clean with Dawn and regular car wax 2 times a year. Multi-piece wheels are high maintenance.

I've got the IS 300 17" on my SC, look pretty good, better handling than the OEM 16's, did not notice any change in ride quality, I'll try to post picture with this reply. we'll see if it works.

as it is now ive got a little over a grand to spend but if i could sell a few things i need to get rid of id have close to 2 grand but ive been trying to sell for a long time ... i really wanted some volks but they are a little out of my price range after going through all of my engine stuff and the long wait from japan doesnt appeal to me either. so if you guys have suggestion with in the 1200 price range for some 18's that would be cool

and also if the stern wheels do come with a warrenty then ill probably get them just to see for myself

thanks for all the help

Make sure you hit D2 up. I know he carries some lower priced wheels that may fit your budget.

For my next car I'll be getting something cheap until I save up for what I really want. So far I think I'l get wheels by Carre. They are triple chrome plated and you can't beat that anywhere. They come staggered and cost $1500 for 19's. I didn't check the prices on the 18's.
If the Carre wheels look as good in person as they do in the pictures I may never get rid of them. Again, I have multi piece wheels and I say the whole thing is over rated. I really like my wheels but wouldn't make anyone feel it's some big deal to influence they do the same.
