A'PEXi S-AFC on sc400?

A friend of mine bought a APEXi S-AFC super air flow converter for his GS 400. He never installed it and now the GS is wrecked. Consequently I can buy it for a awesome price brand new in the box! What I am wondering is if it is really worth the trouble.

What HP gains should one expect from it?

How difficult is the install?

How difficult is it to tune once installed?

Does any one have any real life experience with this on a SC400?

Should I buy it?

Try PMing Vssc400, the forum moderator. He had some pretty good results with this mod.

$200-400 depending on what and where you get it.

That's what the manual says to do, Atleast for the best results.

time to install = 40 minutes
ease of install = splicing 7 wires
take it to a dyno tuner. You can seriously damage your engine if you do not.
It would not be hard to tune if you had a wideband setup (if you are not sure what wideband is, it was explained in a few threads so let the search button be your friend) but if you do not then it would not be possible to tune it. Remember tuning is not a guessing game, it's an exact science.

I gained 10-11rwhp.

Make sure the tuner tunes both low and high settings.

Wont the ECU automatically compensate for the low-throttle settings after a while?
