I have the same question...never got an answer. The dealership bodyshop guys told me the middle can't be taken out of the 95 SC. Have replace the a/c vents to get the wood out....the wood is a single piece with the vents. They advised me not to attempt this unless done by an expert.

Reggik,

The vents and wood are NOT the same peice if that is what you meant. I took the wood off my 92, and my 95 and they are just bolted on the back side of the dash. It MAY be possible to get the wood off without taking the dash off, but I am not sure.

As for the CF... I bought these peices from ACLEAN.. I actually started installing them yesterday... I will have pics of the door panel tomorrow hopefully for you all to see...... on black interior

alright then turbosc how do you get them off. i looked everywhere under the dash. first of all the whole bottom of my dash was apart not just part of it. second i couldn't really get my hands up there to the vents, and thirdly when and what i did feel just didn't seem like the rhyme or reason of how to get the wood off. it you could share some light on the subject that would be awesome. i could finally stop loosing sleep at night. jk

I will take some pics of the back part of the dash tomorrow where the wood bolts on to the dash

It would be super hard to take it off, if not impossible to take the wood off with the dash ON IMO.

When I had the wood removed on my 92 400 they did not remove the dash. They removed the glove box and were able to remove all the nuts through there.

When I had my car in pieces I looked at the wood trim pieces. It looked like there were tiny little gold screws with a weird head that were holding the wood in. Bear in mind this was 4 months ago so I may be incorrect.

I didn't see any obvious ways to remove it but I would be interested in seeing how it is done.

TurboSC - hey man - look forward to seeing the pictures.

Peace,
Jonny
