DIY is cool and easy once you know what you're doing. I thought you were getting Tanabe springs with your "hookup".

Hahaha, I never said it was a hookup . Anyway, I was planning on getting those for $150 shipped, but I came across some NA supra Eibachs on SuprForums for $120 shipped, so I had to scoop those up.

PS. FOr those who want my Tanabe "hookup", search "supra tanabe" on ebay...

I'm in Ft Laud but will drive to Palm Bch for that price. How can it be that low. I've called many places with quotes between $335-835, including alignment. That couldn't have included alignment? Is your's driving OK...that's cheap. How long did it take? Were you able to watch? Give me the phone number of the shop, please.
Thanks.

But those Tein's are more than double the price of these Tokico's. If you find someone willing to trade Tein's for Tokico's let ME know, I'll make that deal in a second. I can get the Tokico's for $248 out the door for the whole set. Let's see...$248 or $640? Think I'll take the Tokico's and do something else with the $392.00 I save!

As for spring/strut installation being $120, yep...that's the going rate in my neck of the woods as well. Not including alignment but I can get that for $45 from my tire shop.

You can get Teins for $640...from where? Shipped...$640, where?
I checked and cheapest price I got was $1100. Guess I don't need em for a 1 inch drop but at that price, I'll refund or sell what I got. Where?

reggiek you probably were looking at the tein cs or flex series that goes for 1300ish. The ones i have is the Tein basic coilover series not alot of people know they came out with a 2 new models. its retail is $750 and rides just as good as the CS which is twice the cost. I made a post on it in the suspension handling section with detailed info on where to get it for $641 shipped

Yes, it's the Tein CS I was looking at. The CS are made for luxury performance ride. Usually, it's pay for what you get. The Basic's can't be as nice as the CS...can they?

they're practically identical in build except for the fact the the basic is only height adjustable and it doesnt come with tein pillow mounts. So basically your paying the extra costs for ride stiffness adjustability and nicer pillow mounts. But most people just leave thier teins on one setting anyway.

OneHotsc400 has test driven my car and swears its just as soft as his tein CS.
