Default Engine mount question

I have a 92 sc300 5 speed and have a 2jz-gte and the enigne is twisted wrong. The front of the engine tilted up. I tried using the 94 supra engine brackets but now the engine sits too low and is hitting the steering rack.

So I did a search and found all kinds of stock stuff.

I need the year and type of car that will work.

if you get the solid TRD engine mounts, you need to buy the brackets that attach the mounts to the engine itself. otherwise you will get the engine sitting higher like you said. I know because thats what i have in mine, I am not exactly sure the year, but i remember that the 94 supra parts should work just fine. the higher years like 97, 98 switched to a different type of mount. Hope that helps.

Kevin

Give Curt at Elmhurst Toyota a call, or Steve Ganz and Carson Toyota a call and they can get you the mounts for cheap. Your problems should be solved if you switch to the TRD solid engine mounts.

Thanks,

If I remove the mounts AGAIN I will take pictures of all the mounts and brackets. I do not know why there are 3 different brackets for 2 engines?????? 96-98, 93.5-95, sc300, it is a cluster

If anyone has any pictures of the mounts and/or brackets please post them to this message.
