Unhappy i just smashed my front end [[!

so sad..tragedy has befallen me..d'oh X(

anyways, i wont pretend to be anything but a noob when it comes to car parts *or posting on this board* but if any of my fellow humans could recommend a course of action for me to replace me bumper that would be greatly appreciated. im driving a 92 sc300 5spd..i think i can replace w a 95 or up front end to get the foglights but would that be ridiculously overpriced or what? moneys not a huge concern, i really just need to get running as fast as possible but i gotta do it so i should do it right yeah?

i really need yr help here, any and all advice..plz and thx in advance guys

If money is not a concern, then you should get the front 98+ front bumper w/ foglights. To me, they look alot cleaner and I also have a 92 SC. But you're gonna also need the side skirts and possibly rear skirt, or it might look a little off. You can also swith to a 95 front bumper, but either way, the car will still look awsome!!

"If money is not a concern, then you should get the front 98+ front bumper w/ foglights."

I thought it was the 97+ change? Whatever the case, wether it be a 95, 97, or even 98+ front end, it will definitely fit, and definitely look great. Now an entire 97+ conversion (sideskirts and rear included) is going to run you upwards of $2000. Thats a lot to invest though if your only looking to replace the front end. Reguardless, I think the 97+ front end will look fine without the rest of the conversion kit. And even if you decide it doesn't look right, a 95 will work just fine.

Unashamed,
Tripp

i remember seeing this car on the classifieds a long time ago, it's got only the 97+ front bumper and taillights, no side skirts and imo it looks great

You may as well get a kit. Its about the same price, just a bit more stuffing around fitting it.

How much you looking to see it for, I suppose it is in excellent condition?

This thread is funny Full of comedians...

A question I have for you my friend in Florida is whether or not you're concerned with the resale value of the car? If you're at all concerned with resale value then choose your next step carefully. If not then get whatever bumper makes you do the happy dance

The last thing I mean to do is steal fla sc3's thread. A damaged car is no fun - I know this first hand. I am only offering it to help. It is not just for sale, yet at least. Haven't decided. So I don't have a price. I prefer not to say where I got it from. Horrible service. Will not do it again. But if you guys want to know - send me a pm.

Please nothing more about it on this thread. fla sc3 - good luck with your car. Carson Toyota has been great to me in the past. They can do your parts if you want oem.
