Perhaps the members here can shed some light or at least express an opinion on the topic of why SC300/400s have such low resale value. For such an outstanding automobile, I would think the resale value for these cars, especially low mileage examples, would be higher. I often see cars with 100K-150K, in very good condition, offered for less than $10K, which, in my opinion, is low. Thoughts?

The newest one is 25 years old. No other reason. MOST you come across are 35+ years old. It's an old car, parts are expensive, all have several common issues, mileage is high. It's done and has been for at least 25 years. 3 decades ago it was fine.
Enthusiasts do not dictate prices. Reality does.

It's on the up I think. Based on the number of thumbs up and comments I get from zoomers they love these cars. Hoovie of Hoovies Garage bought one speculating that they are under valued. 90s Japanese sports cars in general are on the up.
Big thing is lack of manual options and drift kids ruining them, but a clean one I expect to go up.

The generation that loved the 90’s cars are just getting to age where the cars they once loved could be a toy. You’re seeing the 1940’s cars lose value and other eras that were previously super popular are going through the same thing. That said, unless the parts become more accessible, it’ll be tough to have them increase in value but so much. The older, but still modern cars (unlike older mechanical only vehicles) have a lot of components that go bad simply with time. I have a time capsule version of a 1992, and as I look to the parts market for things that are likely to fail it’s hard to find suitable alternatives that are factory/OEM and the OEM inventory is shrinking.
I think it depends a lot on condition and the buyer. I purchased my 93/300 three weeks ago off Bring A Trailer for $16,500 plus the auction fees and the cost of enclosed shipping from the east coast to Texas. One owner with 65k and 100% stock. They're worth what someone is willing to pay.
In some ways I would have been better served to purchase a Chevy or Ford or S2000 at twice or three times the price just for ease of finding parts. But I always liked the SC's so I got something for a weekend toy that I know I'm going to enjoy driving. And their rare enough that it make them "different".
Citing Hoovie for anything is a joke though in my opinion. The guy is an idiot from what I can tell. Look at his latest 911 purchase as evidence. If he bought one and is praising it makes me think I screwed up big time. Saying this somewhat sarcastically and somewhat not. That, or I'm an idiot for not realizing the guy figured out how to make financial train wrecks situations profitable on YouTube and does it on purpose.

I remember yours from BAT. Absolutely gorgeous! I love the color and the gold badging (I wish mine had the gold badging). Mine is a one owner bought new at Sewell Lexus in Dallas and maintained at that dealership. The previous owner's widow sold it back to Sewell after he passed. He was a car collector and loving cared for the car. I am totally besotted with the car. I just wish they had a larger following (and that the drift kids didn't destroy them! LOL!) 1995 SC400

Thank you sir. Love the color of yours, the wheels and the wing.
I'm hoping to maybe get some driving in this week or the weekend. Was detailing interior and shampooing carpets Saturday when the weather turned ugly. Had to get all the vehicles into the garage quickly and then later Saturday night we had a tornado. Just got power back about an hour ago so sitting here reading and letting the AC cool us back down.
We had some roof damage and need a new chimney cap but...I went out to the garage at some point and the double car door all the rollers were out of the tracks except top and bottom. WTF??? It was bowing in and if it had let go it would have hit my wife's G37 and my Tacoma. Bungee cords saved our private fleet. SC was in the single bay so would have probably been o.k. but it's filthy as hell from everything that blew in...safe and not damaged.
Neighbor across the street a few houses down no longer has a door on his two car garage and I think it's covering a Bimmer of some sort. They're out of town and I don't think are going to be happy when they return.
Always read about people who state "never driven in the rain". It was inside and still got drenched by the rain. Oooops.
