I have these they are excellent. 30%+ brighter than the best HIDs
Amazon Amazon

They are not 15,000 lumens each that's absurd more like ~4,000 which is still great.

I'm also curious about this. I've had my cheap DDM HID's for a while now (going on 5 years) and I've had my driver side start to flicker so I'm guessing they're on the way out. LED tech has come a long way since then so I'm thinking about converting over. I'm curious if anyone else ran these or similar LEDs in our housings. I've heard people mention the housings being melted by extreme heat of the 65w HID units but idk if LED produces similar heat levels. The reviews for the once linked above seem positive as well.

The one I linked to draws about 50 watts, but cooling is accomplished via heat pipe and fan (most are like this now) so not much heat goes into the headlight housing itself.

I found this from a youtuber that does reviews and testing of various kits. Its interesting that these are supposedly significantly brighter than the GTR lighting once which are considered widely to be some of the best once on the market. The temperature is the only thing that I'm still a little worried about. Looks like they reach about 91C during operation which is likely to be higher in hotter climates

At the brightness level of Hikari many go over 200 degrees F. Lasfit runs nice and cool but the heatsink is big won't work in many housings. LED bulbs are becoming more and more similar except the heatsink and styling. The heat pipe and general design/placement of the LED emitters is about the same.

....oh on the colour temperature it's about 6000K is looks pure white. If you're used to a 4300K HID at first you probably won't like it but after a few minutes you'll realize it is much better.

I installed these Auxito LED bulbs (
Amazon Amazon
) in February to replace Sylvania SilverStar halogen bulbs and have been satisfied with them so far. I specifically chose this set (12,000 LM/set or 6,000 LM per headlight) due to reviews indicating it's not overly blinding as I'm concerned about blinding other drivers with improperly aimed LED headlights. The amount of light is significantly more than the Sylvania bulbs I had and feels sufficient for regular night driving but is still far from that "illuminate the world" feeling you get in some new car headlights (if you've seen the high beams on a Tesla you know what I mean). If you're really going after maximum brightness, you could choose a set that draws up to the 55w of the OEM halogens but I personally feel like that's overkill.

I’ve had a few different sets of LED headlights on my SC300 ranging from cheaper eBay bulbs to expensive bulbs from V-LED’s. The light output on every set was inferior to the Morimoto 5000k HID kit I replaced them with in 2020. The LED’s were decent, but not as good as a high quality HID kit. The light output advertised by vendors is nowhere near as bright as they claim

My 2001 GS300 currently has LED’s. The LED high beams are great and fogs are decent. The low beams are terrible and don’t project anywhere near the output advertised. The biggest issue I ran into was that it was difficult to see on wet roads at night, but having yellow fog lights helps with that. If you’re going the LED route, spend money on a good quality bulb. I’ve heard good things about Lasfit in the Jaguar community, but I haven’t tested them myself.
