rx300 clear taillights for sale & other parts
I have a set of the clear tail lights that will fit a 1999 & 2000 model RX300. They are in excellent condition, paid $400.00 for them 2 months ago. Will take $300. I also have a set of roof racks $50.00 and a set of the clear exact mats (2 fronts and 1 long back) The driver front is a little discolored from where your feet are when you drive, but other than that they are in good shape $50.00 ( I paid $89 for the mats at the Lexus dealership 4 months ago). WHEN THE LAMPS WERE MAILED THEY WERE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AS I EXPLAINED TO THE BUYER. INSURANCE WAS NOT TAKEN OUT SO IF THEY WERE DAMAGED THE POST OFFICE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE. THE LAMPS WERE OBVIOUSLY SCRATCHED DURING SHIPPING AND I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM AFTER SHIPPMENT. I AM A VERY HONEST PERSON AND WOULD NEVER SELL ANYTHING TO ANYONE THAT WAS NOT IN THE CONDITION AS I DESCRIBED. I AM SORRY THE THE BUYER HAS PERCEIVED SUCH A BAD IMAGE OF MYSELF TO THE LEXUS SITE, BUT I WAS HONEST WITH HER FROM THE BEGINNING. LADYLEXUS

The bottom line is this:
I paid for lamps that were described as "excellent" condition. They arrived damaged due to the fact that the seller packaged them poorly, thus they were NOT in excellent condition as promised.
The exterior of the box was undamaged, so the post office was obviously not responsible for her grossly inadequate packing job.
I contacted the seller as soon as I opened the box to notify her of the damage. She said told me it was too bad, they had deposited my check & she was adamant that she would not refund my money.
She did not hold her end of the bargain, to deliver "excellent" condition lights for the price paid. The goods were damaged due to her actions. She is liable & I will be pursing this further.
Like I said before, be warned. She touts herself as honest, but her actions speak louder than words.
