Default Roof rack

I took off my roof rack last night wonder if anyone else has taken their roof rack off and what they used to cover holes and what did u use for the rubber strip that runs from the front to back?

Sewell has a kit for $70, everything you need will be there.

There are 8 bolts, 4 clamps and 4 plugs in the kit. I would suggest you put the original bolts back in to prevent water from getting in the bolt holes (on the off chance it ever rains again).

I put the new bolts in but used plumbers putty on them to stop any leaking....

Cleaning the roof is so much easier. Less air drag, too.

I haven't ever used my roof rack either. Plus, removing the roof rack will decrease wind noise, and you'll see a slight improvement in mpg (nvm, it might not be noticeable but it's there).

I have used the Rack and at some point will need to put it back on for a storage box. but it's allot of fun to have the racks of atm.

Lol you guys are awesome..... I called the local lexus dealer here and they had no idea what i wanted i posted this this morning and i got a response with-in a matter or minutes and order has been placed.... But is there a way i can get a one piece weather strip instead of the split ones...?

There is a one piece strip for the panoramic roof, I think it runs about 115 bucks, don't know if that is for both sides!

Can I remove just the cross-members without removing all sections first?
