Nice looking rotor. I just put KVR cross-drilled rotors on mine. You will notice an immediate difference

Did you happen to get better pads when you installed your rotors? Cross drilled rotors do not make much difference for daily street driving.

I had drilled rotors and Akebono ceramics on my RX300 since '06, superb combination. I don't want to roll without them.

Yup! I had them in my BBK on the bimmer. No fade, no squeaks, no dust. Can't lose.

Max Rotors http://maxrotors.com/

They were about 260 shipped. There were supposed to be some cheapo pads with the rotors but they never made it. I wouldn't have used them anyway.

I couldn't find drilled Brembos like I had on the 300 anywhere so I found these on eBay, i selected them for the free zinc coating. As you can see on the pic above the rotor stays looking good for years with the plating.

We'll see how they do. I searched the web and couldn't find any complaints and they've been at it since at least '09 so plenty of time to irritate people.

The pads will be here tomorrow so these will be installed Thursday, I'll post pics.

EDIT: The pads were still out on my porch, I just missed them when I drug the rotors in.

I purchased KVR cross-drilled rotors and KVR carbon-fibre pads

Another toy came today that didn't work out so well...

I ordered this specifically because the ad said it had no frame, just a mesh insert for the original grille frame so here it comes with a chrome frame which inserts inside the chrome frame of the original grille giving the ever popular double chrome frame look, idiots.

I'm going to send it back and see if I can't have mesh inserted in an original grille here locally, how hard can this be??

There is this company as well. Dunno how to judge quality though. My rotors are warped so I have to change them.
