Exclamation DIY Exhaust System Replacement, Please!

Hi All,

So a few months back I tried getting away with just replacing my two main O2 sensors, but now the lights came back on telling me to replace the other one (Bank 1 Sensor 2). Here's the deal:

Not only do I need to replace that (which I already have in my possession), but I also have a leak in my exhaust system and it's ridiculously rusted, so even if I wanted to put the new O2 sensor on, I couldn't because the bolts, etc are too rusted to knock loose.

Could someone please let me know if you know of a detailed exhaust system diagram AND if it would be best to just replace the muffler, along with the pipes and clamps right away all-together, vs. waiting for 6 months til another leak occurs. Also, if you have any PART NUMBERS and any other detailed tips, I would be so grateful.

I'm getting the parts myself and my boyfriend and his father who are advanced welders and familiar with DIY auto projects are gonna try and fix it up for me.

Thanks in advance!

Do you have a picture of the area where the leak is?

Default Photos of leak

Sorry for the delay, Lexmex! Here are the photos you asked for

The leak is at the joint. The last photo is of that last O2 sensor that I think I have to replace <note the rusted screws> (although my dashboard lights all went off, the sound of the exhaust system deteriorating is still horrible, so I might as well get the whole thing over with, right?)

Thanks, very much, again.

Did you replace the gasket?

I had a leak in the same spot. My mechanic replaced the gasket and no more leak and much more quieter. For the rusted screws he heated them up with a blow torch to take em off.
