It's been fun, but I'm leaving....
Last week Lexus repurchased my 2024 RXh 350 Premium+ cuz it was a lemon. I really was sorry to see it go because it was a fun car to take on cross country road trips. But the endless problems that the dealership (with assistance directly from Lexus as well) couldn't fix. It concerned the Infotainment center, specifically the Nav system. It would drop connections, completely blackout and the screen image would 'shake.' Never saw anything like it, said the dealer. Oh well.
It's been fun. I may end up going with another Lexus because despite my issues it still maintains the highest reliability factor. This time I'm thinking NX350h....🤔 |
Best of luck with whatever vehicle you end up deciding on!

Good luck - test drive the NX before you pull the trigger. The interior is much more confined than the RX.

Exactly! Have bought many vehicles undriven over the years. Only one I was really disappointed in was my NX350h. Could not believe how claustrophobic the interior was and I’m not a big guy at 175 lbs.
|
I've spent an hour driving an NX350 and a couple hours in an NX350h. The only thing I liked about the NX was that it handled better than the RX. The RX just feels so much roomier and a nicer place to spend time.
|
Agree with all prior comments about the NX, which to me is also a bit too small even for me (157 pounds), and its run flat tires are a bit too noisy. The only advantage is its shorter frame, which is easier to find a parking spot in New York City.

I almost bought an NX450H+, as I thought I could get by and preferred the smaller size and better handling/connectedness. Switched at the last minute preferring the much lower cabin noise after test-driving the RX450H+ and also that the RX doesn't need the steering hand-holding for the ADAS to work. In a nutshell, I would have preferred the NX if it had the same handsfree ADAS and the low(er) cabin-noise as the RX - but these were deal-breakers for me in favor of the RX - even though the smaller size of the NX wasn't a factor for me.
Whichever you choose next, I'm glad Lexus is honoring a buyback without much hassle, given that you obviously got a lemon. |

I had a 2025 NX 350h Luxury for 3K miles and then traded it for my current RX 350h Luxury. The RX is quieter and the interior is way nicer than the NX. No regrets.

Which is why I never buy navigation and special infotainment packages, bugs are not uncommon with them per Consumer Reports...I try to keep it simple and hope for the best...it's a jungle out there!

I can say to each there own. Wife has a 2023 NX 350h and loves it I have a 2024 RX 350h and the same. I am 6:4 and the NX is noticably smaller. The RX have plenty of room. I love the RX interior much better. The bamboo accents and the split dash with the illumination. The dash is a dark gray not black in the RX and shows a lot less dust. Both are great choices and the #1 and # 2 most popular selling luxury vehicles in sales units.

Thank you. We did end up buying a '26 NX350h and, are so far, very happy with it. It's a little smaller than the RX, but as far as the front seats, it's about the same size. |
