Default Looking to purchase RX350

Hi All! Last time I purchased my 2017 Lexus 350 Premium, you guys came in clutch with the recommendations for where to get the best deal. Now I'm in the market again for a 2025 RX 350 premium, premium+ or possibly the hybrid.

I'm located in HSV, AL and last time traveled to Nalley Lexus and it was the best car buying experience ever. I got a great rec for a sales associate here that no longer is with Nalley.

Who you got that I should call? I'll probably reach out to the Nashville dealers, ATL, and Birmingham as well. Our dealership in HSV is notorious for being hard to deal with. The last go around they gave me the same deal on a 2016 used RX with 16k miles that Nalley gave me on a new 2017 new one, exact same car and trim.

Also, is the Premium+ features worth the extra $$$ over the Premium? Honestly as long as I'm not losing features from my 2017 I'm good. I'm a little unsure what additional the Premium+ delivers.

Thanks!

Ah, good old HSV. Thank goodness for acronyms, or I might have a clue. :-)

Premium PLUS:

Includes Premium features and adds or replaces:
  • Leather-trimmed interior
  • Thematic Ambient Illumination
  • 21-in 20-spoke alloy wheels with Dark Gray Metallic and machined finish
  • Lexus Interface* with 14-in display
  • Drive Connect with Cloud Navigation, Intelligent Assistant and Destination Assist 3-year trial*

Go with the PLUS IMO. We went from a 17 as well and bought the 350h Premium+

I’m guessing Huntsville, but have no idea why the OP would think everyone in this forum would know that.

Regards from BRN.

When I looked at out of state dealerships, I found that the sales tax differences would eat any possible savings. SC has only $300 sales tax on a new vehicle. Consider any sales tax implications when you decide to buy.

$300 sales tax is awesome! We have 6.25% in Texas.
so that would be almost $3400 for our RX that due in a few weeks. Fortunately, the tax is lessened by the trade-in amount. In our case, that’s about $1600 savings.

Don't you pay sales tax to your state of residency regardless?? That's how it would work in NJ.

yes. That’s what I’m saying. We pay 6.25 in Texas.

I once had a car shipped to me from Florida. When I went to register it, I had to pay Texas sakes tax.
do they get you one way or another.

I guess with all the other information I posted about locations if you could not glean what area of the country I was shopping in, your response probably wouldn’t have had any value anyways .

Yes, when you buy out of state they typically don’t charge the state tax, you pay it when you register the vehicle. At least that is how it was when I bought mine in Georgia, and I am in AL. That could vary depending on states.
