Is there a way to have the driver position memory keys light up when the drivers door is opened?
If my wife was the last driver and it is dark out I can’t get in the car and I can’t see the keys to change to my memory setting. So I have to use a flashlight to see the keys. This doesn’t seem like a Lexus solution to me.
Bind your profile to your key fob. This way you don't have to select anything. The car will automatically recall the correct profile. Manual shows how to connect profiles to key fobs.
I understand what he is saying and it's a big annoyance. The multiple profile solution is a challenge as well.
Key linked profile recall works for me. We have multiple drivers and if the last driver locked the doors when existing, then the next driver gets in with their own key that was linked, the car will automatically adjust the seat, mirrors and HVAC to the correct setting. Identical to the old RX.

This is a bit of a pain, not used to locking my car in my own garage.

We never lock the car on the garage. My bride drives it four days a week. I might drive it when we go to dinner on weekends. As long as I have MY fob in my pocket, it recognizes me when I get in. It pulls up my profile settings: radio and Sirius FM
stations, seats, mirrors, and steering wheel.

Let's both double check that just entering an unlocked car with your fob adjusts the seats, mirror and steering wheel part. I don't think that's my experience unless the car is unlocked first, per toyotaman7's qualification that I highlighted..

I just got a 2026 tx so don't know how it applies to earlier models. We have set the seats and steering wheel to retract when we place the car in park ( or turned the car off) There are two options completely retract or partially. We set Partially as i sit tall but frankly can't hardly reach the start button on full retract . Once I'm in it recognizes our face and sets to the driver profile. I then punch my seat memory position and the seat, side mirrors, and wheel adjust to set position. The rear view mirror requires manual adjustment. The manuals are poorly written so took me awhile to figure out how to set up the two different profiles and all the things impacted by that such as with phone connects, which music plays, what views show on your display
..... there is a bunch of individual customization. Think I'm going to go in and spend some time with the dealers tech specialist!
