Thumbs down Floor Lighting '23 RX 350

I have a '23 RX-350 (luxury). Does anyone have have a problem with the lighting in the footwell? I can't even see the pedals at night, when I turn on interior lights or open the door. It is hard for the Maintence people to duplicate the problem because the shop is well lit. In fact, I find the interior lighting on the 23 to be far substandard to my previous 3 RXes.

Out of curiosity, why do you need to see the pedals at night? I always turn that sort of lighting down to a low setting.

Perhaps some aftermarket LED bulbs would be brighter?

I would inquire at a reputable supplier like Diode Dynamics (who has been EXCELLENT working with me, on several occasions) or Superbright LEDS to see what they recommend.

I know that DD would exchange a set if they are not to your expectations.

Actually, I don't look at the pedals while driving (unless stopped at a traffic light). I was just using that example as a "point of reference" to explain how dark the cabin is. The back seat and cargo area are OK, but the front is nothing like my 3 previous RXes.

I had to replace all the LEDs in the RX500h with aftermarked Lexus/Toyota LED Panels (inside the housing ind Door and trunk door). The weak light in the footwell bothers me as well.
They were simply too weak → energy-saving mode?

I think that the black colored headliner makes the interior seem dark...especially in a dark garage.

But after almost two years of ownership, we don't even look down there on a day to day basis. except when washing the car (outside).

LOL.
Not sure how Google swype keyboard butchered what I typed to this level, but thanks for catching the gross misuse of meaningless words.

Here is a short form of what I meant to say:

I Also find the lights to be to dim. I have mine set to maximum illumination and still too dim for me. I wish there was a way to increase the light intensity. It can get brighter, as it does when car is in park.

Have you tried changing the ambient lighting color? Maybe set it to white or yellow. I have mine set at lavender and it is adequate for lighting up the floor area when I vacuum my floor mats. And that is performed in my garage where there is not that much lighting.
Addtionally, have the ambient light setting to the maximum setting.

where did you LEDs? Do you just replace the bulbs or the complete assembly? If you can give me more info, I will appreciate it.

In the vehicle footwell, I haven't finished the LED project yet.

I replaced the LEDs in all four doors and the two LEDs in the trunk on the left and right. For the smoked-glass tinted LED in the trunk lid, I soldered in an LED panel. The housing was not available on the market, so I simply took the LED panel from the China Lexus panel and soldered it into the black housing.

You can buy the Aftermarket China Aliexpress LED´s (bright, yellow light, LEXUS Laser F-Sport Laser Module, etc.) for Toyota and Lexus up to 2022. The housing and operating voltage remain the same; only the connector has changed.
So, you order the China LED module, take the connector from the removed LEXUS OEM LED lamp, cut it off, and solder it onto the China Aliexpress LED module. You can simply pull out the electronic board with the weak stock LED.
