Congrats!

What had you owned before, and what do you like most about the RX 350?

Cheers,

Cheers,
60+ cars (this is my 7th Lexus) since driving age. I'm 62. I this RX because it’s well behaved and reliable.

This is our 3rd lexus, and we had owned a Toyota before that which got us onto this manufacturer (as well as owning many other makes throughout 50 years of driving).

We've had zero problems with these Toyotas/Lexuses. We have no luxury dealers within a hour+ of us, and being able to push the start button and get on with the day, is most important.

We may have 300km on the 500H so far.

Between my wife and I we have owned 10 Acuras and Hondas. I thought that would be the last car I ever owned. They're reliability 10 years ago went downhill fast. J D Power Dependability study verifies this. We're on our 7th Lexus and we've not had one problem with any of them.

Agreed! I stopped buying Hondas too after experiencing first hand quality issues with the engine mostly. So far, loving my RX350h with 7,200 miles under my belt!

RX350h Luxury, bought Jan 13th (8+ months), 4300 miles. No problems at all (fingers crossed). I’m loving this vehicle as much as my 1990 LS400, 2009 LS460 and more than all the other 11 Lexi we’ve owned over the years. First hybrid. I’m a 63 year old male. I love the new tech despite a glitchy Digital Key and steering wheel controls that need software tweaks. Love the wireless Apple Car Play with wireless charging. Rides even better than my old 2020RX and my old 2009 LS460. The 35MPG, on regular gas, blows my mind. Compares to 8MPG on dad’s 1976 Buick Electra “Deuce and a Quarter” that was a similar weight) that I learned to drive on. All in Pittsburgh. I’m hoping better 21 inch tire choices will be available once I need them, I’m estimating at 20,000 miles based on prior RXs.

Is "no issues within first 700 miles" truly an achievement?

350h sounds like the way to go with this RX generation.

from some of the posts here and the problems from the start , yes , 700 miles and no issues is an achievement.

defective components tend to show up pretty fast

Not an achievement, but a good start.

yep, if you have some crappy electronics, problems are apt to show themselves relatively early on.
