Smile 5th Gen RX Sightings

Hi All,

Just a fun thread. I was fortunate enough to pick up a RX350h in December and since then, I have been looking on the road for "other" 5th gen RX. Considering, here in North Texas, how many RXs are there (3rd/4th gen) AND how many RX sold this year (> 45K), I was hoping to see quite a few on the road. But so far: I have probably seen 5-6 in 6 months! Even more surprisingly, 3 of them are RX350h, 1 RX500 and 1-2 unknown. Granted, I haven't traveled that much this year. Not trying to make any conclusions, but just wondering if you could share your experience on 5th Gen RX sightings.

Btw: love the RX so far, first 5k maint visit coming up soon.

Thanks,
-maadfw

I have spotted 2 or 3 in Jacksonville. One was a F-Sport.

They are huge here in Southern Cali also. I have only seen 6 or 7 2023 RXs so far since December, all gas models and no 350h. Even at the Lexus service center, I only saw one while I was there.

I saw a Mica Blue one yesterday on long island. Haven't seen many. One SUV I do see a lot of - the Velar. See those everywhere.

The nearest Lexus dealer to us is a 3.5 hour drive. Haven’t seen a single other one.

I checked all the dealers in Western Canada. There are like 3 or 4 hyrid demonstrators and that is it. And when you call, they say they are not really selling them.

Wow, this makes me wonder where Lexus is selling those 45K RXs to? I understand some of them could be 2022 models, still we should be seeing more on the road.

I did finally see an RX 500h today in Manhattan Beach with the copper color. A few weeks ago I did see an red Gas version parked a block away from my house, I really liked the color on that one.

I'm in Rockwall County, Texas and have seen about a handful in my 3 months of ownership, including 2 others in Copper Crest. Surprisingly, I've met several people who love the color and have commented positively on it. One even took a picture. In my development, I've spotted one in White and another in Iridium. Those were early choices for me but now they look rather plain.

The nearest Lexus dealer is about an hour away. You really have to want a Lexus to put up with that inconvenience.

Did a fly-by at my local dealer Johnson Lexus in Durham, NC and they have tons of RX-350s in stock. I'm still waiting for my RX-500 and on the Lexus website they have several RX-500s incoming.
So, it looks like the supply is improving.

I'm in NY/NJ metro area and hardly ever see a 5th Gen RX. Odd as there are so many 4th Gen everywhere. I wonder if sales have been hurt by the elimination of the V6.
