2023 RX 350 Loaner
I took my 350h in for the 6 months service (only 2700 miles so far) and got a gas model 350 as a loner with 3,600 miles. My previous car was the 2010 RX 350, so I was apprehensive about going from a V6 to a V4, even if it was turbo. But, I wanted better gas mileage and was lucky to overpay for a 350h in December. I drive in ECO mode full time. I loved the 350 gas model extra power and the agility to accelerate and pass cars on the freeway or street. I took a longer route back to the dealer so that I could get a better feel of the gas model. The 2010 RX was smoother when revving the engine and quieter. I do miss the lead foot. I had to adjust to the accelerating from a stop, not having to apply as much gas to get going. But the 350h has mellowed me out, but I hope I am not driving like a Prius driver (no offense), I got stuck behind one going 50 MPH on the freeway. Easy peasy to whip around it when a passing lane opened up. People speed pass me now, but I know that I am getting great MPGs and I do not feel the 350h is too under powered. I can still accelerate, but at a slightly slower pace. Now, what I did not miss is the MPGs under 20 for short trips. The trip home from the dealer in the 350 gas model was about 5 miles at 17.6 MPG. The drive home from the dealer in my 350h was 35.4 MPG. My 2010 was averaging 15 MPG on short trips. A big improvement.
I took my 2017 RX 450h in for some routine maintenance last week. I got a 2023 RX350 to drive. I am on the waiting list for a 350h. Drove 70 miles almost all highway and got 35 mpg. It was so quiet and had plenty of acceleration.

I had a 450h previously and was very pleased at how quiet the cabin is in my 350h. A whole different animal. No road noise and howling tranny.
