route trace?

I drove around locally in my 2019 RX 350 and then noticed that there were many little circles all over the map which seem to indicate where I have driven the car all day. Is this my wife checking on me:) or is this some function I am not aware of?

They are places where you entered as destinations using the car guidance.

You can clean the history...

You are seeing the little red and white dots created by "Route Trace". We use it for
a) Valet Parkers to see if they took the car down to the nearest Liquor Store or
b) National Parks, "look honey we have past that waterfall three times now..."

On your 2016-19 RX just wiggle the remote controller so the tool icons appear,
left side second icon up from the bottom is the "menu" (three horizontal lines),
open up "Map Information" and find "Route Trace" When you tap Route Trace to turn it off
the dialog box will ask if you want to keep the trace. "No" will clear your path.

They’re breadcrumbs created by the route trace option.

Thanks all, Still learning about all the tech stuff in the car. And to set the record straight, my wife is not checking up on me.

Are you sure? Remember that the Lexus Enform Remote Start has a vehicle finder...
intended to find your car at the mall, right?

Turning OFf Bread Crumb

I noticed that there is a bread crumb trail in everywhere I travel. Is there a way to either track bread crumb only when "off road" or just off completely?

Do you mean Route Trace? There's a button on the Map Info screen. Have you downloaded the NAV manual from the Lexus Owners site?
