I had a Rx- f sport- hated it; it was too stiff from suspension perspective and you could feel everything. I would stay very far away from a RX-F sport. It looks good but that about it you aren't getting any performance upgrades at all. (brakes/engine/ everything is the same)

This simply isn't true. While not a lot, the Sport+ drive mode option stiffens the suspension. That is an upgrade, although again, not a lot. Not to mention, paddle shifters, 20" rims and an, admittedly, slight exhaust tone difference. Our 2019 is our second F Sport and we have loved them both. To each their own, I guess.

If you think an F Sport is too harsh, lol, then never drive a BMW X5, especially the "M" verzion...or an Audi Q7.

there is no need to stiffen anything up with the RX, and if you are then put the money where the mouth is. ie brakes/some HP. the paddle shifters are slow to change gears, suspension is unforgiving (my kids refused to ride in it). It reminded me of the ISF but without any added benefits apart from being AWD.

The first thing I did was change the brakes EBC rotors pads, I also thought about upgrading to BBK but that meant that I would swap out wheels. it was a good SUV, nice and easy to drive around and very dependent but wife HATED it. I bought it for her and she never really drove it. Got traded in for a LX.

Yes it looks cool, but that pretty much sums it up, I have driven the X5, it drives better and brakes better too. but again not as reliable as the RX. Again nothing against the RX, we had 4 of these but the F sport version wasn't cut out for us.

if they 3 other cars sitting on the driveway RX is not even in the equation , they dont want to ride in the RX because its "bumpy". Hard to reason with a 5&6 year old

Never subject your children to an RX.

Yes an RX F sport is not as comfortable as a regular RX, it is not. I was dumb enough to buy one based on the hype. Never again.

Well it may not have worked out for you, but my two boys (8 and 4) have no problem in the RX F Sport and they really like the panoroof.

Agreed. My oldest is 17 and said the backseat was really comfortable and he could ride to the beach (7 hours) with no worries.

can you explain what is not comfortable about the back seat?? i've sat back there for several hours on a car ride and i was fine - i needed to recline the seat position a bit.. but otherwise i had no complaints.

my parents have an ‘11 loaded rx and after driving in mine, want mine. They’re in their late 60’s. They prefer the non-floating feeling of the F-Sport.

It’s a sarcastic post.

I took the car to Canada about 3000 mile trip in the Rx, the drive was good on highway but in the city or in even roads it’s jittery. The ride is louder for no reason too.

I had a loaner rx350L fully equipped for 2 weeks we liked that a lot compared to the F version I almost bought it but then settled in a GX.

I am not trying to **** off fellow CL members we all like our cars. In my case when we come out from the Rx to an an LS which basically glides over imperfections on road it’s much smoother / softer.
