Default Rear Window Shade

I was wondering if anyone added rear door window shades and which one you got. I know the newer RX350s have them built into the door...

I tinted the rear windows an additional 30% but the sun still bothers my daughter.

I ended up getting Soltect Sunshade Side Windows and very pleased. They fit the window perfectly. I'm too OCD to get the standard rectangular window shades that only cover part of the window.

Quick question, how does it attach to the windows?

.It sits within the window frame just fine .They also provide little magnets that are removable .

This is a rational solution as a complete swap of factory panels is likely to be costly, unless you were able the find a matching color scheme at a salvage yard. We have the factory shades in our 450h lux and they work well and are often used.

Neat, where do you buy those? Might be good for Texas summers when the car spends the day parked in the sun. Does it keep the car cooler?

I got them on ebay for 105. carid ID and amazon sells the same for 125.

I cant answer if it keeps the car cool or not. I have all the windows tinted in 30% ceramic to help block the heat.

I can still roll down the window partially while on driving but not on the highway.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing. What year is your RX350? Did you use the magnet or wedge mount? Also, do you ever use the shades for the front seats? I believe the front shades only cover 50% of the window. Thanks!

I have a 2016. I will use the front shades for the first time this coming weekend. I used 3 magnets for each rear shade so my wife can roll down the window when I let one rip.

Exactly what I'm looking for... do you happen to have a part number? I can't find these anywhere. A lot of sites don't specify what years they fit. I'd imagine 2016-2020 are the same. I see you have to buy the entire set.

Default Rear window sun shades?

I am from canada, we have the RX350/RX450H in base, luxury, executive, Fsport 2, Fsport 3 packages I believe. I have been shopping the market and could have sworn I saw one that had rear window sun shades type screens that several of the other SUVs have. But today I took a look at a 2016 RX350 F sport 3, 2021 RX450H Base and a few picture online of a 2021 RX350 F SPORT 3 and they don't have them. I would have though the Fsport 3 package would have it. Perhaps it's only the executive package (this top of line nonfsport package would be called something different in US).

Anyone have any idea if these are included with any package or is it always a part add on?
