Default 18inch rim for the 20 inches rim

Hi guys,

First post here. I'm getting a used black 2016 rx350 and dislike the 18inch plain looking rims. Was wondering where you guys buy the 20 inches rim, either from dealer or after market? Or any trade in or sell the old rims to.

thanks
have a nice day guys

Why not look for an RX that already has the 20s. The look definitely missing something with those 18s. Dealer certainly can get them or maybe try eBay.

Most people got their 20" already installed with the RX. You may be able to locate a set from someone who changed their 20" wheels to something after market. There are a couple of 20" choices. The FSport's and the base wheels are different. Good luck

I bought a set of the 20s off of eBay. When I traded my RX I swapped the stock wheels back and sold the 20s on Craigslist.

There are some very nice aftermarket options for the price of OEM 20 inch wheels.

I got these ones from my dealer with the snow tires for about half the price of the OEM wheels.

The 18's are desirable as snow tire rims - I believe they fit the Highlander as well which would make them easier to sell.

check ebay - depending on the version you like... you can get a set of dealer "take-offs" for about 1200$ shipped - so that is the wheels and tires (no tpms though)
i was able to find a single 20" spare wheel for under 200$ shipped - it was the decent price.
which isnt too bad in my opinion.

Default OEM 18in swap to 20inch need to replace suspension?

Hi all ,

I want to switch my OEM 18in wheels to a aftermarket 20inch. But the offset its 38mm where the max offset for the 2016 rx350 was 35mm. I was told that the 18inch have a different suspension than the 20inch non f sport wheel package. If i upgrade the 20inch wheel, do i need to upgrade my suspension as well? or i should just go one size up to a 19inch one.

Thanks

I would be surprise if you need a suspension upgrade. Make sure you have the 20inch tires with the smaller wall to width ratio.

someone from the dealer told me that the 18in wheel suspension was setup for it and the 20inch wheel package have a different setup. it can cause more stress to it if my wheel its bigger then the original suspension setup meant for 18inch wheel
